(3) Custody: The SEC should grant registrants more autonomy to decide on the custody methods of crypto assets and modernize the definition and rules of 'qualified custodians' to adapt to the industry's reality.
(4) Trading: The SEC should allow registrants to trade a wider range of product types on the platform, including securities and non-securities paired trading, to adapt to the development of crypto assets. At the same time, they should do everything possible to retain innovation and talent in the crypto space.
3. The above speech is not the only standard for my judgment; after all, politicians often say one thing and do another. But when I dug deep into their specific actions on the SEC's official website, I was shocked! The SEC, as the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, has allocated almost all of its schedule to the crypto world!
