#TrumpTariffs India strikes back: Tariff war between Delhi and Trump's USA ⚔️📉

India has officially responded to the steel and aluminum tariffs of the Trump era — filing a detailed complaint with the WTO and announcing new tariffs on goods from the USA worth 7.6 billion dollars. This is India's first direct trade response during Trump's second term.

Trump's tariffs added 25% duties on steel and similar on aluminum in March, claiming it was for national security. India calls this a deception, stating that it is merely a hidden protective measure that is not allowed under WTO rules without consequences.
