Mr. Xi said no one wins in a trade war, in his first statement since the USA and China reached an agreement to suspend tax imposition.
"The world today is experiencing unprecedented changes in a century, with many intertwined and overlapping risks," Chinese President Xi Jinping stated on May 13 at the China - Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) Forum in Beijing.
This is the first time Mr. Xi has spoken since the USA and China announced on May 12 the temporary suspension of the new import tax on each other's goods for 90 days, in an effort to reduce bilateral tensions and facilitate trade negotiations.
