SEC delays ETFs for Solana, Litecoin and EVEN BlackRock's

Green light until 2026?

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) announced on May 13 the postponement of decisions on multiple exchange-traded fund (ETF) applications related to cryptocurrencies, including those submitted by giants like #Grayscale and #BlackRock⁩

The spot ETF applications submitted by Grayscale for #solana (SOL) and #Litecoin (LTC) have been postponed, with new submission deadlines set for August 11 and October 10 respectively.

The SEC has also delayed the processing of BlackRock's application to enable in-kind redemptions for its already approved spot Bitcoin (BTC) ETF. No new deadline has been established for this application, which focuses on technical aspects.

Recognition of the ETF for #Dogecoin : In a separate note, the SEC has formally recognized application 19b-4 for a spot Dogecoin (DOGE) ETF submitted by 21Shares, initiating the official review period for this product.
