๐จ Doppel Secures $35M to Combat Social Engineering Threats ๐จ
San Francisco-based cybersecurity startup Doppel has raised $35 million in a Series B funding round, bringing its total funding to $54.4 million. The round was led by Bessemer Venture Partners, with participation from new investors 9Yards Capital and Sozo Ventures, alongside returning backers such as a16z, South Park Commons, Strategic Cyber Ventures, Script Capital, and Sabrina Hahn.
Doppel's platform, Doppel Vision, leverages AI and large language models to detect and neutralize social engineering threats across various digital channels, including email, social media, web domains, and mobile applications. By mapping and dismantling attacker infrastructure at its source, the platform provides centralized threat intelligence to organizations.
Since its Series A funding in January 2024, Doppel has experienced significant growth:
400% increase in enterprise clients
3x growth in annual recurring revenue
8x increase in expansion revenue from existing customers
The company has also partnered with OpenAI to enhance its AI models, enabling the autonomous identification and neutralization of complex digital threats.
With this new funding, Doppel plans to scale its product development, enhance automation capabilities, and meet the growing demand for proactive digital risk protection across various sectors.
