The Ethereum Revolution $ETH that nobody is talking about!

Last week, a major update called Pectra was released on the Ethereum network.

Many perceived it as "another meaningless Ethereum update that won't affect anything."

👀 Why is this not the case?

The most important innovation of Pectra is EIP-7702, which allows a regular wallet to temporarily turn into a smart contract during a transaction.

Sounds boring? Here’s what it means in practice:

• Batch transactions: Instead of three separate operations (approve token, swap, transfer) — one transaction. This greatly simplifies interaction with applications.

• Gas payment in stablecoins: Now applications can pay fees for you, or you can pay in USDC instead of ETH. Beginners no longer need to understand what "Gas" is to start using applications.

• Biometric authentication: Instead of complex private keys — a fingerprint or FaceID. Just like in a modern smartphone.

• Spending limits: the ability to set a maximum amount that the application can spend in a day — like a limit on a bank card.
