Andromeda, the protocol behind the leading modular Web3 operating system built on the Cosmos ecosystem, announces the appointment of Dana Love, PhD, as its new Chief Technology Officer and Partner, effective April 18, 2025. Dana leads the design, development, and innovation of Andromeda’s aOS, Andromeda Digital Objects (ADOs), and groundbreaking AI initiatives, positioning Andromeda as the go-to platform for scalable, interoperable decentralized applications (dApps).

Dana Love brings over 35 years of experience as a technologist, crypto-economist, and innovator in blockchain, AI, and distributed systems. Dana’s early career leadership in AI at BrightDawn and machine learning and big data at Infolob has been followed by a focus on Web3 since 2011, driving innovation at blockchain trailblazers like Blockstar, Lifetoken, Dyme Foundation, and Radpay.

Andromeda’s new CTO has architected novel products using distributed ledger, digital identity, and agentic computing. A mentor to early RWA project eLocations and algo trading platform Intellos, Dana holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Glasgow and an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he graduated as a Baker Scholar. Love’s notable exits include Metacloud Communications (backed by Cisco Investments, acquired by Intelogistics) and Radnet (backed by Warburg Pincus, acquired by Groove Networks).

“Dana’s unparalleled expertise and visionary leadership make him the ideal partner to drive Andromeda’s technical evolution,” said Mant Hawkins, CEO of Andromeda. “His ability to deliver enterprise-grade solutions and his deep understanding of AI and Web3 ecosystems will accelerate our mission to empower creators with seamless, interoperable tools. With Dana at the helm, Andromeda is poised to redefine decentralized development.”

As CTO, Dana will oversee Andromeda’s technical strategy, including the advancement of its AI initiatives, the modular operating system, aOS, and the ecosystem of Andromeda Digital Objects (ADOs). His leadership will focus on enhancing interoperability, scalability, and developer experience across Cosmos and other blockchain ecosystems.

“I’m joining Andromeda at a defining moment for Web3,” said Dana Love. “The future of decentralized applications demands platforms that are modular, scalable, and developer-friendly. Andromeda’s aOS is that platform, and I’m excited to leverage my experience in blockchain, AI, and cryptoeconomics to make it the gold standard for dApp development. Together, we’ll build tools that let developers create game-changing applications—fast—and deliver real-world impact.”

For Cosmos-based Layer 1 builders, Dana’s deep expertise in Cosmos SDK, Tendermint, and Ignite—evidenced by his work at Blockstar, Lifetoken, and Dyme Foundation—ensures Andromeda will push the boundaries of interchain innovation. For investors and token buyers, his track record of delivering triple-digit revenue growth at Radpay and Feedback Networks underscores his recent ability to create value in high-stakes markets.

Under Dana’s visionary roadmap, Andromeda will drive down barriers to dApp creation, enabling developers to create decentralized applications that are fast, scalable, and feature-rich.
