Odaily Planet Daily News The Infinite Node Foundation (NODE) announced the acquisition of the intellectual property of CryptoPunks from Yuga Labs, along with a $25 million donation, making it the largest nonprofit organization currently investing in the field of digital art in the United States. CryptoPunks, launched by Larva Labs in 2017, has total sales exceeding $3 billion to date and is regarded as the starting point of the modern digital art movement. NODE stated that it will 'liberate' the series, steering it toward a community-driven decentralized future, and will host the first complete exhibition of 10,000 works at a new venue in Palo Alto, which will run Ethereum nodes to ensure the permanent on-chain presence of the works. Original creators Matt Hall and John Watkinson will join the advisory team to jointly promote the project's development.
