Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council: Adjustment of additional tariffs on imported goods originating from the United States on May 14

BlockBeats news, on May 13, the Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council announced that starting from May 14, 2025, 12:01 PM, the tariff rate imposed on imported goods originating from the United States will be adjusted (Announcement No. 4 of the Tariff Commission in 2025) from 34% to 10%, and the additional tariff rate of 24% imposed on the U.S. will be suspended for 90 days.

Starting from May 14, 2025, 12:01 PM, the implementation of the additional tariff measures specified in the (Announcement No. 5 of the Tariff Commission in 2025) and the (Announcement No. 6 of the Tariff Commission in 2025) regarding the adjustment of additional tariffs on imported goods originating from the United States will be stopped.
