What Alpha Points are

How they are calculated

Stay until the end to find out how to maximize your points without complicating your life.

What are Binance Alpha Points?

Binance Alpha Points are a point system designed to assess user activity within the Binance Alpha and Binance Wallet ecosystem. These points determine users' eligibility for certain campaigns, such as participation in token generation events (TGE) and Alpha token airdrops.

What are Binance Alpha tokens?

Binance Alpha tokens are tokens highlighted in the Binance Alpha section on Binance Exchange and Binance Wallet. Binance Alpha was launched on December 17, 2024, as a platform aimed at showcasing early-stage Web3 projects with high growth potential. Some tokens featured in Binance Alpha may be considered for future listing on Binance's Spot market, although this is not guaranteed.

Where can users check their Binance Alpha Points?

There are several ways to check your Binance Alpha Points:

Option 1: Open the latest version of the Binance app and search for 'Alpha point' from your homepage to check your points

Option 2: Open the latest version of the Binance app. On the homepage, tap the profile icon (top left). Once on this page, find the [Alpha Points] icon in the 'Information' section.

How are Binance Alpha Points calculated?

Alpha Points are calculated daily based on two elements:

Balance Points: Based on your total holdings on Binance Exchange (tokens listed in Spot across all accounts, including the Alpha account) and Binance Wallet (only Alpha tokens and those already listed on the Binance Spot market. Tokens not supported in Spot or Alpha, such as LSD tokens, are not eligible).

Volume Points: Based on the purchase volume of Alpha tokens via Binance Exchange and the Keyless Wallet.

Selling Alpha tokens does not affect the points.

Total Alpha Points = daily sum of Balance Points + Volume Points over the last 15 days.

How are Balance Points calculated?

Balance Points are awarded according to tiers, based on the combined total balance of your holdings on Binance Exchange (tokens listed in Spot) and Binance Wallet (Alpha tokens + Spot tokens only):

From 100 $ to less than 1,000 $ = 1 point/day

From 1,000 $ to less than 10,000 $ = 2 points/day

From 10,000 $ to less than 100,000 $ = 3 points/day

100,000 $ and more = 4 points/day

Timezone of captures: UTC

How are Volume Points calculated?

Volume Points are calculated based on the purchase volume of Alpha tokens via Binance Exchange and the Keyless Wallet:

2 $ = 1 point

4 $ = 2 points

8 $ = 3 points

16 $ = 4 points

32 $ = 5 points

Note: You earn 1 additional point for each doubling of purchase volume.

For example:

64 $ = 6 points

128 $ = 7 points

and so on.

In summary, Binance Alpha Points are much more than just a scoring system. They represent a true gateway to innovative Web3 projects, exclusive airdrops, and rare opportunities like TGEs.

By understanding how these points are calculated and adopting the right habits (HODL + smart buying), you can strategically position yourself to fully benefit from the Alpha ecosystem.
