British court prevents Craig Wright from filing more lawsuits after "legal hell" for his opponents

The British High Court has issued a restraining order preventing computer scientist Craig Wright from filing any new defamation lawsuits.

In a ruling dated May 12, Judge Edward Milward stated that Wright's repeated false claims, along with his hostile legal practices, created what he described as a "legal hell" against individuals and developers within the Bitcoin community.

He added that Wright sought to "weaponize the judicial systems" to intimidate and silence his critics.

The judge noted that the lawsuits filed by Wright forced his opponents to engage in costly and exhausting legal battles, often based on fabricated evidence. Consequently, the court issued a General Civil Restraint Order, restricting Wright's legal actions and preventing him from bringing any new claims or applications before the High Court.
