We’ve all been there—chart looks good, RSI is sweet, volume picks up… and boom, it reverses right after entry.
Here’s what I learned from a trade that looked perfect but ended in a loss:
Emotion Over Analysis: I jumped in too fast because I didn’t want to miss out—classic FOMO.
No Clear Exit Plan: I had no defined stop-loss. Just vibes and hope—not a strategy!
Ignored Higher Timeframes: I was stuck on the 15min chart. The 4H was screaming “downtrend.”
Lesson:
Not every setup is a real opportunity. A good trader knows when not to trade is just as important as knowing when to enter.
