#CPI数据来袭

For the U.S. April CPI data, Wall Street expects the overall CPI month-on-month to record 0.3%, up from last month's -0.1%; the overall CPI year-on-year is expected to be 2.4%, the same as in March. The April core CPI month-on-month is expected to be 0.3%, higher than March's 0.1%, and the core CPI year-on-year is expected to be 2.4%, also the same as in March.

The release of CPI data often has a significant impact on financial markets. For example, if the CPI rises and remains above the central bank's target, it may trigger expectations of interest rate hikes, leading to a market correction; if inflation is moderate or declines, the central bank may maintain an accommodative policy, which is favorable for the stock market. At the same time, CPI data will also affect the bond market, foreign exchange market, and others.
