Why Does Coins take sharp moves down?
The answer is simple
Low Liquidity - Order books are thin
High leverage trades - Traders chase coins with high leverage to make some quick gains. When the market dips slightly it liquidates high leverage traders and these liquidations are executed through the orderbook, and because the order books are thin it causes some sharp moves.
