In the short term, it may be worth considering shorting Bitcoin!

In the medium to long term, I still have a bullish outlook on Bitcoin and will continue to dollar-cost average into Bitcoin.

Here’s an explanation of why I am bearish on Bitcoin in the short term.

1. The results of the recent China-U.S. trade negotiations were much better than the market's previous guess of an 80% tariff level, which means that, at least in the short term, trade between China and the U.S. will be at a relatively low level. This is beneficial for the stability of the U.S. dollar, as well as for the stability of U.S. stocks and bonds. For Bitcoin, this means a shift in funds away from it.

2. As a decentralized cryptocurrency, Bitcoin has a somewhat negative relationship with trade globalization. Trump's trade tariff policy is, to some extent, favorable for Bitcoin.
