#TradeWarEases

The U.S. and China just agreed to ease trade tensions for 90 days by lowering tariffs. The U.S. is cutting tariffs on Chinese goods from 145% to 30%, and China is dropping tariffs on U.S. products from 125% to 10%. This move gave global markets a big boost. The Dow jumped over 1,000 points, the S&P 500 gained nearly 3%, and the Nasdaq rose 4%.

While this agreement doesn’t end the trade war, it gives both sides a break to talk things through and possibly find a longer-term solution. Investors see this as a positive sign, but it’s still uncertain what comes next once the 90 days are up. For now, the market seems to be breathing a little easier.
