$BTC What no one is saying about BTC
Bitcoin (BTC) was born as a decentralized alternative to the traditional financial system, with a clear proposal: to be censorship-resistant digital money. However, recently, a strong debate has arisen regarding structural changes in the Bitcoin blockchain. Proposals like Ordinals and other forms of inscriptions have allowed users to insert images, memes, and even content with no economic or informational value within the blocks of the network.
This has generated a division in the community. On one side, there are those who defend the freedom to use block space under the argument that "they pay for it." But on the other hand, many bitcoiners believe that this type of use undermines the essence of the protocol: an efficient and secure financial network. Filling the chain with memes and digital junk not only raises fees and congests the network but also jeopardizes its utility as a value system. Bitcoin was not created to be an immense file of nonsense, but to offer financial sovereignty.
