On May 12, according to information from Chainwire, the Layer0 blockchain infrastructure platform Openverse Network has just announced the completion of a strategic funding round worth a total of 11 million USD. Investors in this round include Castrum Capital, TB Ventures, DuckDAO, and Asva Capital.
Core Development Objectives
With new capital, Openverse plans to enhance the development of its core protocol and upgrade the mainnet. They are focusing on supporting cross-chain communication, unified identity verification, timestamping services, and naming services.
Performance and Token Standards
Openverse's mainnet can handle over 300,000 transactions per second (TPS), supporting various Token standards such as VRC10/11/12. Their goal is to build a programmable, efficient, and secure global value Internet.
