#TradeWarEases refers to the recent de-escalation in the trade war between the United States and China. On May 12, 2025, both countries announced a preliminary agreement after two days of negotiations in Geneva. This agreement includes a significant reduction in tariffs over an initial period of 90 days: 
• United States: Will reduce tariffs on Chinese products from 145% to 30%.
• China: Will reduce tariffs on American products from 125% to 10%.  
Additionally, a new economic dialogue platform was established to address long-term structural issues in the bilateral trade relationship.
