The increase is thought to be fueled by the possibility that Binance will eventually list the cryptocurrency.

Due to problems with Pi token distribution, Pi is still not listed on Binance, a leading cryptocurrency exchange platform, even though it has broken into the top 20.

According to Coinegcko data, Pi had mostly declined since reaching its peak of $2.93 on February 27. On April 5, the token seemed to have fallen to little under $0.50.

However, Pi started a rebound that saw it reach its highest point since March 16 at $1.43 after flatlining for the remainder of April and the first week of May.

With a market valuation of little over $9 billion, Pi was rated 17th and up 118% over the previous seven days at the time of writing.
