Amber Heard Welcomes Twins, Sparks Speculation About Elon Musk and Frozen Embryos

A Mother's Day to Remember

On Mother’s Day 2025, Amber Heard announced the arrival of her twins—daughter Agnes and son Ocean—calling it the "completion of the family" she has long strived to build. In a heartfelt Instagram post, Heard expressed overwhelming joy at becoming a mother again, four years after welcoming her first child, Oonagh Paige. “I thought I couldn’t possibly burst with more joy. Well, now I am bursting times three!” she wrote.

“Mother on My Own Terms”

Heard emphasized her journey to motherhood was deeply personal, shaped by fertility challenges and resilience. “Becoming a mother by myself and on my own terms despite my own fertility challenges has been the most humbling experience of my life,” she shared, celebrating her decision to expand her family independently.

Speculation Over Paternity

While Heard’s message was focused on joy and self-empowerment, online discussions quickly turned to the question of paternity. Social media users speculated about a possible link to Elon Musk, her former partner. Reports resurfaced of a past legal dispute involving frozen embryos the pair allegedly created during their relationship.

According to past legal documents and witness declarations from a 2022 court case, both parties had once intended to have children together. A close family acquaintance even claimed Musk wished to destroy the embryos while Heard hoped to preserve them.

Public Divided on Curiosity

Despite the speculation, many supported Heard’s autonomy. “She CLEARLY states she became a mom on her own terms,” one user noted, pushing back against intrusive curiosity. Others, however, remained convinced Musk could be the biological father, citing the embryo dispute.

Notably, Heard kept the comments off on her Instagram post, choosing to let her message of joy and strength stand on its own.
