I was tempted by 90500 to go short at $BTC and then also buy a couple more times. The result - I just closed everything at the current price. My account was enough to hold until 130,000$. I didn't have the nerves to hold even until 110.
I have never been at a loss on spot; I always came back from the deepest drawdown in profit. But on futures, it's a completely different story. I psychologically can't stand looking at the red number and knowing that I could lose everything. This time I held on for almost 3 weeks. During which, I would have earned twice as much, if not three times more on spot, but I didn't trade, preserving the deposit.
As a result, I simply closed my access to futures trading and made a promise - never to trade futures in my life.
I understand that for some, my $1000 is not much. But deep down, there’s still a lingering feeling...
To everyone who knows how - I wish you luck and profit. As for me, I'm heading back to spot to work it off 😁
