Elon Musk’s Tweet Triggers Buzz Among $XRP and SHIB Communities

Tech billionaire Elon Musk, owner of X (formerly Twitter), recently shared an early look at the platform’s upcoming video and audio calling features, sparking lively reactions—particularly from the XRP and Shiba Inu ($SHIB ) communities.

Musk’s post highlighted a tweet from the "Dogecoin Designer," who detailed how the new calling function works. The preview quickly gained traction, with various crypto fans chiming in—especially notable figures from the SHIB and XRP spheres.

Lucie, head of marketing for Shiba Inu, replied with a humorous GIF showing the SHIB mascot using a banana as a phone, captioned: “Bring ring ring ring ring.” On the XRP side, the well-known account @XRPcryptowolf used the moment to once again ask Musk: “When is X accepting XRP payments?”

Speculation about XRP’s integration into X has persisted for some time, fueled in part by the visual resemblance between X’s logo and XRP’s branding. Still, with Musk’s clear favoritism toward Dogecoin ($DOGS ), the likelihood remains uncertain.

Regardless, the crypto community at large showed enthusiasm for the platform’s ongoing evolution, viewing the new features as progress toward Musk’s broader goal of turning X into a comprehensive "Everything App."
