Experienced analyst and trader Peter Brandt predicted that the resurrected Ethereum will fly to the moon in 2025.

Usually, I try my best not to say anything good about Ethereum. It could be called hatred, perhaps that's the right way to put it. But the contracting pattern could serve as support for the moon flight, Brandt wrote.

According to the chart published by Peter, the ETH price dropped to the lower line of the contracting triangle when it fell to $1,389 on April 9. The price of the coin rebounded from this barrier and surged upwards. Therefore, Ethereum has a chance to reach the upper boundary of the figure, which is around $3,840.

Fluctuations in the ETH price on the chart created by Brandt

After the cryptocurrency price fell to $1,389, an upward trend emerged that accelerated significantly on May 8. Thanks to the bullish trend, the digital asset has already increased by 88%, and on May 11, its price reached a maximum since February 2025 at $2,596. Currently, Ethereum is priced at $2,550, so if Peter's forecast comes true, the value of ETH could rise another 51%.

There's always room on the Ethereum train, even for haters. But don't miss it because of your hatred, one of the ETH community representatives commented on Brandt's post.

Notably, many users on the Polymarket platform are betting on the Ethereum price rising to $4,000 in 2025. This is evidenced by the fact that the probability of this outcome is 34%. It turns out that enthusiastic members of the crypto community agree with Peter's position.
