Adversity is not to be feared; what is to be feared is when one has lost their original ambition.
A person without aspirations will fall into depravity and lose the meaning of life, regardless of the environment.
There are three steps to solve a problem:
1. Understand what the problem is.
2. Identify feasible solutions.
3. Choose the best solution. When the mind is focused, nothing is impossible.
A person with ambition makes a vow once and adheres to it for life.
A person without ambition makes a vow every day, but it is superficial and insubstantial.
Weak individuals concentrate their efforts on one thing and can achieve something.
Strong individuals are distracted by too many matters and gain nothing.
