Mobius Token ($MBU) fell victim to an attack on the smart contract on the BNB chain, resulting in a loss of 2.15 million USD. The attack, which was detected by the security firm Cyvers Alerts, occurred early in the morning on May 11.

According to the Cyvers report, the attackers used contract 0x631adf… to carry out a series of malicious transactions. The smart contract drained approximately 28.5 million MBU tokens valued at around 2,152,219.99 USD, converting them into stablecoins after the theft.
