🚨💸 ALARM ON $BNB CHAIN! Mobius Token Hacked and $2.1 MILLION Stolen! 😱
Bad news for users of Mobius Token (MBU) on BNB Chain! 🚨 A CRITICAL exploit allowed a hacker to drain a whopping $2.15 MILLION in MBU tokens from their smart contracts. 😲
The security firm Cyvers Alerts detected the suspicious move: a malicious contract was deployed and, within minutes, it emptied the funds of a victim wallet! 😨 The attacker converted the 28.5 million stolen MBU tokens into juicy USDT. 💰
Cyvers classified the attack as "critical," pointing out suspicious code and abnormal transactions. 🕵️♂️ The worst part is that the hacker's wallet remains active with the stolen funds! 😬 The Mobius Token team has not yet stepped forward. 🤐
This new blow adds to the already hefty losses from hacks in April, which reached nearly $360 MILLION in the crypto sector. 🤯 An increase of 990% compared to March! Most of those losses came from a massive social engineering attack against an elderly person. 👴➡️💸
