Lido DAO has proposed emergency action to replace an oracle node operated by Chorus One after suspicions of a private key leak. Although the concern prompted swift governance response, staking users and the protocol itself remain unaffected. Lido’s 9-of-5 multisig oracle design provides resilience, ensuring that one compromised node doesn’t endanger the system. No anomalies have been found in the software or data, and the other eight oracle nodes are confirmed secure.
