The total market capitalization of cryptocurrencies increased by another $70 billion, reaching $3.470 trillion.
The price of ETH sharply fell just over a month ago, hitting a year-low of $1400 on April 9. In the following weeks, it managed to bounce back, but still has not decisively returned to $1800. After the latest positive macroeconomic events and the Pectra update, its price has finally started to rise rapidly.
On a daily scale, ETH soared almost 9%, but its weekly jump is much more impressive — nearly 40%. This has pushed its price well above the psychological resistance at $2500.
