XRP Grows Positively Since the Beginning of the Year Thanks to Clear Regulations
XRP, the crypto asset created by Ripple Labs, has recorded outstanding performance, surpassing other major digital currencies like Ethereum (ETH). Year-to-date (YTD), XRP has achieved growth of nearly 15%, while ETH has dropped -24%, according to CoinMarketCap on Sunday (11/05).
The success of XRP is driven by the influx of large funds into Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs), legal certainty from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and Ripple's significant acquisition worth US$1.25 billion.
On the other hand, in its first-quarter (Q1) 2025 XRP market report, Ripple highlighted the increasing institutional interest, such as the launch of the Teucrium ETF, which further strengthens XRP's position on the international stage.
