Wellgistics Health, a healthcare service company from the United States (US), announced an innovation initiative to use XRP as a payment tool and the company's cash reserve. This company is a pioneer in fully adopting crypto assets and blockchain.
According to Wellgistics Health CEO Brian Norton, the old payment system is considered slow and he has to oppose it. Because this system impacts the company.
"At Wellgistics Health, we challenge the notion that healthcare services must be tied to an old system, large intermediaries, and slow-moving money," he said.
He also added that XRP has better transaction speed, around 3-5 seconds. Moreover, this asset offers efficient, transparent, and cross-border transaction costs.
It is known that this crypto asset payment is supported by Wellgistics Health's $50 million Equity Line of Credit (ELOC). It will later be used to develop and unlock liquidity for the Wellgistics ecosystem.
