On May 11, reports indicated that Bitcoin SV (BSV) investors are attempting to restart the lawsuit against Binance from 2019. They allege that Binance's delisting of BSV has resulted in prolonged price declines. The plaintiff's lawyer asserts that the UK Competition Appeal Tribunal rejected the claim for ‘lost opportunity’ damages regarding the delisting of the Token in July 2024 and requested a review of this ruling.

The plaintiff has requested $9 billion in damages in the original lawsuit. If restarted, the claim amount will rise to £10 billion, equivalent to $13 billion. In April 2019, Binance declared that BSV did not meet the listing criteria due to the actions of Craig Wright, who claims to be Satoshi Nakamoto. Subsequently, Binance delisted BSV.
