The increase of altcoins by 30% to 50% does not mean the beginning of the altcoin season. But after each rise in Bitcoin's value, the whales start to flee to altcoins. Then, they pull the rug out from under their feet to realize multiple profits compared to what they could obtain from the major cryptocurrencies, as their market capitalization is significant, and therefore it cannot have a significant impact on the price, unlike small-cap cryptocurrencies.
