Mistakes & Lessons from the Short LINK Order
I opened a Short LINK order at 16.259 with SL 16.78 and TP 15.8. The first mistake was entering the order too early, when the price had no clear reversal signal, while the market was still in a retracement trend. Secondly, placing the SL too close to the noise zone (16.6–16.8) makes it easy to be swept by strong shakes.
After reassessing, I moved the SL up to 17.05 to avoid short-term noise, and at the same time divided the TP into 3 levels: 15.8 – 15.2 – 14.5 depending on the correction level. If the price returns to 16.6 and gets rejected, I will consider reinforcing the Short order, protecting the risk with a common SL.
Sometimes, correcting mistakes early is the biggest victory.
