$XRP : sleeping giant or dead asset?

Despite the overall bull run and BTC over $100K, $XRP demonstrates limited volatility. After several attempts to break through $0.65, the asset has returned to the consolidation zone of $0.57–0.62. The key issue is low volume and the lack of clear catalysts. The Ripple lawsuit against the SEC is dragging on, although the conclusion is near. The market expects: a complete regulatory resolution could give XRP new momentum.

From a technical perspective, the current structure is accumulation with the potential for a breakout. A consolidation above $0.66 could lead to a quick surge to $0.78. However, as long as the $0.60 level is not held, shorting risks remain high. RSI is neutral, but MACD suggests a possible crossover.

In the long term, XRP has a strong narrative in the international payments sector, but is losing market share due to competition (Stellar, USDC, CBDC).
