US Vice President J.D. Vance is slated to deliver a keynote address at the highly anticipated Bitcoin 2025 conference in Las Vegas, organizers announced on Friday. His appearance marks a significant moment, coming roughly a year after President Donald Trump addressed the same annual event—billed as “the world’s largest Bitcoin gathering”—during his campaign in Nashville, TN, The Block reported.

Vance’s address is scheduled to take place at The Venetian Las Vegas, where he will speak to tens of thousands of attendees as part of the “Code + Country” programming track. The speech will also be streamed globally via Bitcoin Magazine’s channels. The Vice President is expected to focus on critical themes of “innovation, financial sovereignty, and how Bitcoin fits into a more resilient American future.”

Vance, a former venture capitalist with a long-standing interest in revitalizing American dynamism, has been a notable figure in the cryptocurrency space. His selection as President Trump’s running mate and second-in-command drew considerable attention, especially given Trump’s evolving stance on crypto. During his tenure as a Senator for Ohio, Vance “took a clear stand against regulatory overreach and pushed to redefine how the U.S. government interacts with open-source money,” according to the conference organizers.

Previously filed financial disclosures indicate that Vance held up to $500,000 worth of Bitcoin before taking office, highlighting his personal connection to the digital asset.

The Bitcoin 2025 conference, set for May 27-29, is also expected to feature a lineup of other prominent figures from government and the “MAGA-world” sphere. These include Senator Cynthia Lummis, AI & Crypto Czar David Sacks, and White House Executive Director Bo Hines. 1 Additionally, several high-profile founders from leading Bitcoin companies are scheduled to speak, as are President Trump’s eldest sons, Donald Jr. and Eric. 2
