After the launch of Operation #البنيان_المرصوص , several countries moved to de-escalate tensions between Pakistan and India. The United States offered to mediate through its Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, during a call with the Pakistani army chief. The Group of Seven (G7), which includes Canada, Germany, Japan, Italy, Britain, America, and the European Union, called for de-escalation, warning of a threat to regional stability. Britain urged direct dialogue through its Foreign Secretary, while the European Union is making formal and informal efforts with both sides. Gulf countries have also expressed interest in mediation, and Saudi Arabia's Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Adel al-Jubeir, visited both countries.
