Since 2007, the inflows into American assets 🇺🇸 have been extremely large, with a total of 3.5 trillion USD flowing into equity funds, corporate bonds, and U.S. government bonds.
Equity funds account for 34%, equivalent to 1.2 trillion USD. After the 2020 pandemic, the inflow surged with 2.5 trillion USD pouring in within just a few years. Even in the bear market of 2022, the inflows continued, despite recent sell-offs, U.S. funds still recorded strong inflows.
💰 And when money is printed under the guise of "helping the people" or "saving the economy," history shows that most of the money ends up in the hands of large corporations and the wealthy, who then continue to reinvest in assets to combat inflation, driving up stock and asset prices, thereby deepening the wealth gap.
