Bitcoin surpassed $104,361 on May 8, 2025, reaching a new high for the year. This wave of growth was mainly driven by the following factors:
1. The US and UK signed a new trade agreement, alleviating market uncertainty regarding tariff policies and boosting investor confidence.
2. Institutional funds have flowed into Bitcoin ETFs, with inflows reaching $5.3 billion in the past three weeks, indicating an increased acceptance of crypto assets by mainstream finance.
3. Arizona and New Hampshire have legislated to allow state governments to hold Bitcoin reserves, reinforcing its status as digital gold.
4. On the technical side, after breaking through the $100,000 barrier, the market expects to challenge the previous high of $109,000, potentially even reaching $120,000.
Overall, the dual drivers of favorable policy and institutional funds have made Bitcoin regain a strong bullish trend.
