This increase is attributed to the Spectra upgrade, which restored investor confidence, and recorded standard short liquidations. Other alternative currencies also rose, with Solana's price increasing by 10%, Dogecoin by 12%, and Sui (SUI) by 12%, along with a 45% increase in trading volume to reach $2.17 billion.
