Tonight everyone is panicked again by a customer service image claiming to deduct 160 points. In fact, there's no need to worry. Brother D is here to explain the new point deduction mechanism. Of course, since specific details haven't been announced yet, some of this is Brother D's speculation. If you find it useful, feel free to give a thumbs up.

Previously, the concluding remark in my article interpreting the Alpha mechanism was: "A system and strategy for each period; only by opening up our thinking and seeing through the rules to the essence can we establish corresponding strategies to remain undefeated." Students who haven't read it can go back and catch up.

Text: The launch of this point deduction mechanism undoubtedly gives the brothers who have been trailing behind the score a chance to quickly catch up. Looking through the rules to see the essence, taking the previous marathon race as an example, point deduction is like receiving a reward at a mid-point and then being automatically teleported back a distance. This is equivalent to dropping in rank, falling out of the top 30,000. When the next reward point arrives, players who were previously outside the top 30,000 automatically enter the first tier to receive rewards. The extent of this backward movement depends on how many ranks the officials set. Currently, the officials are trying every means to raise the daily active users and trading volume of the BSC chain, including trading rewards and lowering BSC gas fees, with the goal of getting everyone involved. The introduction of the point deduction mechanism is precisely because the top thirty thousand players have been continuously benefiting, while players ranked 40,000 to 80,000 have been chasing points with no hope, and some have given up.

Here's the viewpoint: The exact number of points deducted actually doesn't need to be taken seriously. Essentially, it still depends on how far back the first batch of point earners will be pushed after the point deduction goes live. If the method is really to deduct 160 points, that would push the top thirty thousand directly down to the 60,000 to 90,000 range. This kind of big rotation and alternating benefit actually won't create competition; the frequency of benefiting will depend on who has more accounts, and the value of the accounts will outweigh the alpha score weight. This won't spark a competitive atmosphere, and to be honest, the top thirty thousand are the main force in trading. If the main force stops competing, that's something the officials don't want to see.

I predict that the final method of point deduction may be like this: it will definitely allow a portion of the top players to benefit continuously, while most will rotate. Specifically, after one reward period ends, the rankings of the top 30,000 will be averaged and inserted into the 30,000-60,000 range, creating overlap between the two groups. Those in the front wanting to benefit continuously will need to keep competing, while those in the back will also have ample opportunity to level the playing field. The greater the hope of narrowing the gap, the stronger your motivation to compete will be. So, understood in terms of points, it’s roughly the score of the 15,000th place minus the score of the 45,000th place, which is about the score to be eliminated. In this way, the top thirty thousand will pull the ones behind to compete together, and the overall trading volume is expected to reach another level.

Of course, I hope it won't be so intense anymore; it's exhausting. But since it has already started, let’s go all the way. Recently, I have increased my trading volume. Based on BSC's doubling volume, I have basically reached the 16,000 mark. As for wear and tear, you can see for yourselves. Pay attention to the trading times; this has nothing to do with the upward channel; only the intervals that are large correspond to the upward channel. Why is there so much score grinding?

Because points are no longer rotated out but consumed, if the deduction is done in the way I guessed, the weight of points will be greater than it is now.

Finally, I recommend joining my Binance chat room. The atmosphere in the group is lively, and the group owner answers questions daily, providing the latest news, strategy outputs, and exchanging ideas without missing anything. (Click to join the pinned post on the main square page)
