🦅 SEC files documents for settlement of the Ripple lawsuit
Ripple and the SEC have agreed to withdraw their appeals pending before the Second Circuit Court of Appeals, which effectively ends the legal battle that began in December 2020.
🇺🇸 Under the proposed deal, Ripple will be able to resume sales without violating securities laws and recover $75 million from the $125 million held in escrow.
