What is staking?
Staking is the process of "freezing" cryptocurrency to support blockchain operations (most often on the Proof of Stake algorithm). In return, the user receives a reward — usually in the form of the same coin.
Types of staking on Binance
Fixed staking (Locked Staking) — you lock the asset for a specified period (for example, 30, 60, 90 days).
Flexible staking (Flexible Staking) — you can withdraw the asset at any time.
DeFi staking — Binance places your assets in DeFi projects on your behalf.
ETH 2.0 staking is a special type of staking for Ethereum (converting ETH to BETH and participating in Ethereum 2.0).
