Conflux Foundation has completed a new round of CFX burn and staking
According to the previously passed community voting proposal Conflux DAO #14, the Conflux Foundation completed a new round of CFX burn and staking on May 7, 2025. The specific execution is as follows:
1. 76,000,000 CFX have been burned
The Conflux Foundation has transferred 76,000,000 CFX from the ecological fund to zero address 1: cfx:aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa0sfbnjm2, achieving permanent burn.

2. 500,000,000 CFX staking has been completed
On May 7, 2025, the Foundation unlocked 500,000,000 CFX from the ecological fund to the following address and has completed staking: cfx:aapjva9ghfp0scg5g31519bpt2nuwzdbhpem483ux6

By increasing the total amount of PoS staking, the current annualized return rate (APR) has decreased from the previous 18.2% to 13.9%. This staking will continue until the next round of network parameter adjustments take effect (Chain Param Voting Round 16). The CFX staked by the Foundation will generate approximately 5,575,000 CFX in interest per month, which will be locked for at least two years. After the term, the subsequent disposal method (burn or supplement the Conflux ecological fund reserve) will be discussed and announced.
