.@smithsonian has uploaded nearly 300 of the earliest sound recordings in human history, made by Alexander Graham Bell in the 1880s, to IPFS and Filecoin. Long thought unplayable, these discs were recovered using optical scanning and now benefit from tamper-proof storage.
