Today, in conjunction with @Sign Official , I would like to discuss with you the topic (Founders and Community: The Dual Core Forces That Drive Project Success) (This is a topic I came up with myself, please don’t think it’s low 🤣)
I have talked a lot with friends in the community these two days, and my biggest feeling is: sincerity is the biggest killer. @Sign-global Along the way, @Xin Yan has really contributed a lot. It is also the communication with other friends in the community these two days that has benefited me a lot and touched me a lot.
In my opinion, founders and communities are indispensable pillars in the growth and success of any project. They complement each other and jointly shape the direction, vitality and future of the project. And $SIGN is a representative of a successful project
First of all, from the perspective of the founder, the founder is the backbone of the project. In my opinion, the founder has three core roles: response - respond to the community and build consensus; persistence - firm belief and fearlessness of difficulties; planning - insight into the future and guidance.
First, the founder is the soul of the project, and his response to the community directly determines the cohesion and credibility of the project. Excellent founders know how to listen to the voice of the community, whether through social media, public AMA, or regular blog updates, answer questions and share progress in a timely manner. In the SIGN Orange Dynasty community, the team's @ClaireMa12 @0xzoe_im @sign @realyanxin will stand up at three or four in the morning to respond to community questions, showing transparency and responsibility. This kind of interaction not only resolves the community's doubts, but also makes members feel respected and valued, thereby enhancing trust and loyalty to the project.
Secondly, the founders' persistence is the driving force for the project's continued development. When the project faces market fluctuations, technical difficulties or external doubts, the founders' beliefs and actions can stabilize the community's emotions and motivate members to face challenges together. SIGN's journey has not been smooth sailing. During the most difficult period of the team, it was difficult for the founders and the team to pay salaries, but it was the persistence and mutual encouragement of the three founders that led from a deep bear to today's success.
Finally, a successful founder needs not only passion, but also a clear long-term plan for the project. Whether it is product iteration, market expansion or ecosystem construction, a clear roadmap allows community members to see the future of the project. I still remember that the day before TGE, the founder @realyanxin sent me a private message, suggesting that I delete a tweet about SIGN. The theme of the tweet was that $SIGN would be listed on @binance @upbitglobal @coinbase, and cited a lot of evidence (it turned out that my vision and inference were correct, hahaha 👅), while Yan Xin told me to keep a low profile before tge, hoping that SIGN's line would go up. At that moment, I was surprised that I could not be shaken by the secular world at the exciting moment of TGE, and still firmly adhere to the route set by myself (the team).
To be honest, I really admire such people, because only people with such great perseverance can accomplish great things that ordinary people cannot do. It was also at that moment that I felt that SIGN’s future was promising and the team’s goals could be truly achieved.
Then let’s talk about the community. I believe that the community is the life and soul of the project. The greatest significance of the community to the project is: promotion and supervision (although in today’s blockchain, the community does more promotion and supervision is weak and powerless, but I believe that there will be a new solution in the future)
The community is not only a supporter of the project, but also a co-builder. Their feedback and contributions directly promote the improvement and innovation of the project. Take the Orange Dynasty Chinese community, in which I am deeply involved: @tailai99 single-handedly carries the banner of the Chinese community, organizes events, conducts community AMAs, and rewards the community out of his own pocket; @dying641558 builds a meme website for the community; @CreaMyHaOsCar independently designs the SIGN mascot Orange; @MengDong23 is active in the WeChat community; @q188288 is deeply involved in the community; and there are more community members who spontaneously create memes, videos, tweets, mini-games, etc., which make the SIGN ecosystem more complete and sound, expand the influence of the project, and attract more resources and attention.
The community is not only a promoter of the project, but also a supervisor. The community is an important driver of the project. The warm and inclusive atmosphere stimulates innovation. A diverse community builds multi-dimensional support. In the community, members can encourage founders and teams to remain transparent and responsible through open discussions, questions or suggestions. However, in terms of supervision, the community is at a disadvantage. So far, no community has been able to effectively supervise and restrict the project. I hope @ethsign can enlighten everyone and find a new and effective solution.
Finally, my ideal of a good project is that the project founder and the community are a symbiotic entity that complements each other.
The founders inject soul and direction into the project through positive responses, firm beliefs and clear planning; the community injects vitality and resilience into the project with a warm atmosphere, diverse support and continuous feedback.
The positive interaction between the two drives the iteration and growth of the project, giving it the ability to stand out from the competition.
A successful project is inseparable from the founder's respect and persistence for the community, and the community's trust and contribution to the project. Only when the two work hand in hand can the project continue to move forward in challenges and opportunities and write its own legend.
