PANews, May 9 news, according to The Block, Layer 1 blockchain Skale has launched a new consensus layer solution called the BITE protocol, aimed at eliminating malicious MEV attacks. The protocol uses threshold encryption technology to encrypt transactions before they enter the memory pool and only decrypts them after the block is confirmed, thereby blocking the validators' ability to obtain transaction information in advance for front-running or sandwich attacks. The innovation of the BITE protocol lies in introducing the transaction ordering mechanism of traditional finance into the blockchain, avoiding validators profiting from information asymmetry by embedding encryption guarantees within the consensus layer. The CEO of Skale stated that this is a more thorough solution compared to existing options like private memory pools.
