$BTC Revolut to Enhance Bitcoin Lightning Infrastructure in Europe via Lightspark
Lightspark has announced a new partnership with Revolut to enhance payment infrastructure using the bitcoin network in the UK and select European countries.
This collaboration aims to eliminate delays and high network fees associated with traditional payment systems, enabling seamless transactions powered by advanced open technology.
Revolut will connect to the open Money Grid, joining other fintechs and wallets that offer payment solutions, including Lightning transactions and Universal Money Address (UMA).
Emil Urmanshin, GM of Crypto at Revolut, emphasized that this integration aligns with the company’s commitment to providing faster and more affordable financial solutions. David Marcus, CEO and Co-founder of Lightspark, highlighted the significance of this partnership in modernizing financial transactions, positioning Revolut as a leader in the shift towards real-time, low-cost, and borderless payments.
