LockBit is one of the most active RaaS (Ransomware as a Service) groups since 2019, known for its technical complexity, automation, and efficient extortion strategies, with estimated ransom profits exceeding $150 million, marked as APT (Advanced Persistent Threat) by multiple national security agencies.
