Stablecoin Support in 101 Countries!
Payment technology giant Stripe has officially launched a new service for institutional users called Stablecoin Financial Accounts. This system allows users to easily send and receive funds in both fiat currencies and crypto assets. Stripe is currently offering this service to merchants and businesses across 101 countries and regions.
The two stablecoins supported in these accounts are:
📌USDC – a publicly available and widely used stable cryptocurrency
📌USDB – a closed-loop stablecoin valid only within Stripe Bridge, backed 1:1 by BlackRock-supported reserves
In addition to these financial accounts, Stripe also plans to offer a USDC-based digital Visa card service. This move is seen as part of Stripe’s broader strategy to integrate traditional and digital financial infrastructures, expanding the role of crypto in global payment systems.
